Maya
18 month old Maya was a ton of fun this weekend! I’ve known her mom for a long time and photographed her parent’s wedding just over two years ago. We went to West Point on the Eno and let her loose! She took a little bit to warm up, but that is to be expected with EVERYONE, especially an 18 month old likely to be going through separation anxiety. She enjoyed riding her tricycle, running, floating sticks in the river and blowing bubbles. Maya has an infectious smile and gives meaningful, deep expressions when not laughing. I really enjoyed working with such a small child with so much range!
Williamson Family
Meg is a dear friend of mine that I met when I was pregnant with my daughter. Her daughter (shown), was then just a teenie tiny newborn. Our daughters have had the joy of growing up together, just six months apart. We, in turn, have had the joy of watching each others daughters grow up. Meg’s friendship has been such a thing of beauty in my life. I was so thrilled to finally capture her, her daughter and her mother this weekend. Little girl is big into tea parties right now so we figured we’d start out the session with one, nestled in the woods. While the tea was lovely, the wind was unforgiving, and cut the party a little short. We trekked down hill for some fun on the farm. I cannot tell you how much fun I had and what a joy it was. I am so pleased that these photographs capture some of the Williamson’s beautiful spirit. I hope you enjoy!
Bailee
Could Bailee be any more stunning? I had the pleasure of photographing her in Northern Orange county, close to Durham on a gorgeous Sunday evening. When we began, the sun was still a little high, but it quickly turned golden and then disappeared leaving a mesmerizing glowy light.
